?????? asked: In medical billing for Medicaid and Medicare, can someone explain what the difference is when a patient is admitted as inpatient versus observation?
I know the status impacts how much a patient has to pay out of pocket. What I am interested in understanding is how much will a Medicare and Medicaid person be responsible for in both scenario’s?
Ie: Inpatient is ?x % where as an observation patient is only
?xy %.
Is there a source I can access that will answer benefits questions without having to be a member?

Ginger asked: Medical billing and care has totally changed in the last 25-30 years.I believe in everyone getting paid, but many charges seem to be way over the top.If health care cost what it should, would insurance be so hard to come by? Or is insurance and health care working together to get everything they can?

kiera8312 asked: I am a medical billing student in search of an internship. I am top of my class and very knowledgeable in this field. Unfortunately many students before me have messed up opportunities for current students like myself and I would just like to know if there are any avenues that I might not know about.
