Office Hours Professional for Medical Office Scheduling

Did you know that the appointment scheduling software that comes with medisoft is just the “basic” version? Thats right, and its a great basic version at that! It lets you enter appointments and choose providers; add notes; choose an appointment reason code; and print an appointment list.
However, if you need to view appointments in a weekly or monthly summary; or if you need to view multiple providers side by side, or print out a schedule in a “grid format” or calendar type format; or if you need appointment status’ or the ability to select a custom color for each appointment, then you should consider Office Hours Professional from Medisoft.

Is it possible to lose an appointment in Office Hours? Assuming it was properly entered and saved – can it disappear? Would re-indexing files help solve this?
Thanks

Re-indexing is always the first thing to try when you see problems in medisoft.
If that doesn’t help, you can try looking for the appointment in the appointment list.
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard people complain that either medisoft or office hours is “losing” information. However, as a paid service, what we do is take a backup of the database, install it here, and have the user send us a backup every day. We watch things and when the client claims something is “lost” in office hours or office hours professional, we do research and 99% of the time or more, find that someone moved the appointment.
This can happen intentionally, or unintentionally by accidentally clicking and dragging on an appointment and either deleting it or moving it.
